MISSION

To achieve distinction in both processes of teaching and education by means of changing the traditional educational methods to ones that respects students and their abilities as well as their individual differences; and focus on development and harmony with modern evolution.

St. Dimitri’s School is an educational institution under the auspices of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate inside the old city of Jerusalem. It is a patriotic educational institution that has been serving the residents of the Holy City since its establishment in 1982 regardless of religious, social or ethnic backgrounds.

Our school aims to embracing our Jerusalemite children and teaching them the right scientific education, which is based on academic and technological guidance to raise the prudential level in the Jerusalemite Palestinian society. Its educational policies aim to unifying the Jerusalemite components –religiously and socially- to weave and strengthen ties of solidarity amongst the sons and daughters of the one nation.
