Mission & Vision

The school has the vision of maintaining a supportive, nurturing and stimulating learning environment, where each student’s individual needs are recognized and supported such that each realizes his or her full potential in service of the society. The school aims at creating a place where students and teachers feel belonging, contributed and valued as individuals.

The school nurture an inclusive value system built on self-respect and mutual respect. A place of partnership between children, parents and staff administration, and society as a whole. We are proud of every graduate student of St. Timotheus. They all have been educated on a set of moral and spiritual values – honesty, fairness, good judgment, self-respect, tolerance and respect for others.

Our school conducts a variety of educational programs across the scholastic year, where each month is devoted to a social and environmental issue that staff develop and manage. The activities of each month culminate in a summit day where the theme and the learning outcomes are emphasized.

In addition to the monthly programs, each year the school runs a major project that students work on during the year. For example, this year we adopted the project to preserve and protect the earth. Part of the activities involved the planting of and caring for 1,000 trees, in addition to recycling and maintaining our streets and public places clean and tidy.

The school also carries out an educational and cultural program with the aim of accepting the other, as the school cooperates with the “Kanner” association for children with autism and with the “Mary” association for people with special needs. Throughout the year, we conduct educational and recreational reciprocal activities with these associations, and we collect donations to support these associations.

St. Timotheus School is also interested in encouraging students to care for animals, therefore we work cooperatively with the Animal Welfare Associations who give lectures to students, support and direct them in this project.

St. Timotheus School aspires to integrate technology in our curriculum and keep it in bar with other schools around the country. Our future goal is to become a smart technology school that allocates educational classes for the technological specialization including; 3D printing, developing and building small planes, working with the virtual world and 3D glasses and replacing printed books with e-books (electronic books).

Although the school has obtained the official recognition, the government financial support constitutes only a small part of the school’s budget. Unfortunately, the combined government funding and students’ fees fall short of covering teachers’ salaries at the moment. This forces us in relying on generous donners to keep operating and serving our community.

The situation has become worse with the introduction of the “New Horizon” governmental program, where teachers’ salaries were raised by 40%, to match the increase in living expenses. Our teachers were not included in this program and will miss out on any increase in salaries in comparison with other teachers in governmental schools.

The school appeal to you for financial assistance to support us in continuing our mission by helping us to support our dedicated teachers and bring their salaries in bar with those at other schools. All funds in this appeal will be wholly used for our teachers’ salaries only and accordingly, it definitely will not be used for other purposes.

Your support for us to continue our journey of educating the next generation of students will be much appreciated and acknowledged by us all.
